Farmer’s Gold DripShield is formulated from desert minerals and organic plant extracts. It is biodegradable and non-polluting to the soil through natural bacterial action. Farmer’s Gold DripShield does not leave any undesirable residues, and it is non-volatile and non-flammable.
Farmer’s Gold DripShield is an all natural and organic porous and drip irrigation cleaner and lubricator that combines biologically diluted acids and organic desert minerals and plant extracts to keep your drip or porous soaker irrigation system clean and functioning like new. Farmer’s Gold DripShield is formulated from 100% Organic and USP food grade ingredients.
Farmer’s Gold DripShield is formulated through biotechnology to clean, lubricate and maintain all Drip, Micro and Sub Surface Irrigation Systems. Composed of organic enzymes, acids, penetrating agents and lubricants combined together to form a cost effective irrigation system cleaner.
When injected properly into any type of Irrigation System, it creates an environment which inhibits growth of slime, algae, iron bacteria and penetrates to breakdown all other mineral deposits. Farmer’s Gold DripShield is completely safe for the environment. A Non-Toxic and Biodegradable material, Farmer’s Gold DripShield will Not alter the pH in soils, substrates and hydroponic systems, and will not damage any of the root system.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Add 2 ounces of Farmer’s Gold DripShield to 14 ounces of water to make 1 pint of solution ready to use.
Pour the pre-mixed solution into your irrigation system and mix with 50 gallons of water to treat 100 feet of porous hose or irrigation emitters.
Farmer’s Gold DripShield should always be in your irrigation system when the watering cycle is turned off.
Use Farmer’s Gold DripShield once a week to avoid build-up of mineral deposits which can plug up your system. This will keep your system in peak working condition year round.

CLEANING EMITTERS
Ina plastic container mix enough Farmer’s Gold DripShield with an equal amount of water to submerge emitters. Let stand for 24 hours, then rinse thoroughly before use.
WINTERIZING
Apply Pre-Mix at the rate of 2 ounces per 50 gallons of water to winterize 100 feet of irrigation system. You may clean and flush the system of all water afterwards, or leave Farmer’s Gold DripShield in the system through the winter and flush in the spring to ensure optimal system performance year after year.
MANUFACTURERS STATEMENT
When applying Farmer’s Gold DripShield to a blocked or fouled irrigation system, allow a minimum of 24 to 72 hours for Farmer’s Gold DripShield to remain in the lines, then open all line ends and flush the system thoroughly before use. Where possible, isolate and flush part of the system to ensure Farmer’s Gold DripShield has successfully cleaned all lines and emitters of slime, algae, iron bacteria and all other mineral deposits.
If lines still show signs of blockage, allow solution to remain in the system for an additional 24 to 72 hours to penetrate heavy build-up of mineral deposits. Be sure to reaaply Farmer’s Gold DripShield to the isolated part of the flushed system.
Once irrigation lines have been flushed and cleaned, use Farmer’s Gold DripShield between irrigation cycles on a weekly basis to ensure the system continues to function properly.
DO NOT MIX Farmer’s Gold DripShield WITH LIQUID FERTILIZERS
Apply Fertilizers at the start of the irrigation cycle allowing sufficient time for fertilizers to exit before introducing Farmer’s Gold DripShield into the irrigation system.
PRECAUTIONS
Always wear protective eye and clothing when handling this product.
Do not inject rapidly into the system.
Do not mix with liquid fertilizers.
Prior to injecting Farmer’s Gold DripShield, be sure all fertilizers have exited the system.
Ending an irrigation cycle with Farmer’s Gold DripShield, you should program the pump (or manually) shut down before ending the injection process to insure all water entering the system is treated.
