How it works
Farmer’s Gold MildewShield is composed of bio-polymers found in the polypeptides of amino acids, proteins and enzymes of a select variety of desert plant extracts.
When growing conditions are favorable for mold and mildew growth, (typically cold and humid conditions), spores that are always present in the environment will begin to grow mycelium, the first stage of mildew. This white stringy or powdery looking growth will begin to overtake the plants leaves and stems, eventually leading to leaf rot and eventually the death of your plants.
When applied properly, Farmer’s Gold MildewShield forms a protective permeable micro-thin protein pro biopolymer coating that provides mold and mildew protection for up to 2 to 3 weeks, suffocating the mycelium growing on the plant, causing the mildew to die and fall off the plant, creating an all natural fertilizer for your garden.
Farmer’s Gold MildewShield is completely safe and non-toxic to your plants, and won’t interfere with the natural transpiration process or inhibit the growth of your garden. It is Not a pesticide, and has no harmful side effects to you, your plants or the environment. Use with confidence that you aren’t putting harmful chemicals on your valuable crops and plants.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Apply with pump sprayer and fully coat the leaves top and bottom covering the stems and trunks of the plants until runoff.
Mix 2 Ounces Farmer’s Gold MildewShield with enough non-chlorinated water to make 1 quart of ready to use solution. Mix thoroughly before using solution and after adding to water.
Use solution immediately after mixing. Do NOT store mixed solution – make fresh solution before each use.
Wet the entire plant surface including the underside of the leaves, and then let the protective coating dry. Once dry, coating will not wash off from up to 10 inches of rainfall.
Apply solution at bud break, bloom and fruiting stages.
Apply every 2 weeks and up to harvest of most fruits and vegetables.
Repeat application to protect new growth as it appears.
